Google Cloud + Workspace Community Redesign01 Impact
Provide transparency to over 160K developers by allowing them to share knowledge, learn from one another, and solve problems together. These Community spaces have provided over 20K solutions to developers and have helped offset other support models by 30%.
02 Purpose
While at Khoros, I collaborated with stakeholders from Google Workspace and Google Cloud to support high-touch users. These two communities offered a shared platform for customers, partners, developers, and technical practitioners to ask questions, collaborate, and contribute.
03 Discovery
The discovery process consisted of reviewing user personas, identifying key user flows, and using Google’s product roadmaps. This streamlined our efforts, enabling us to prioritize our work and functionality effectively, ensuring that we aligned with our key performance indicators (KPIs).
04 Design System
To improve our Workspace and Cloud platforms, we created a design system based on Google's Material Design. This system standardized elements and components to ensure consistency. It also provides flexibility for both teams, allowing them to build and improve the platforms efficiently.
05 Acknowledgement
Google announces the collaboration with Khoros and the launch of the communities to help developers find trusted answers faster, access new Google product information all in a single place, and earn additional recognition for their contributions.
